Giveaway for Purex UltraPax

Ahhhh, trips to the Laundromat, not my favorite activity... but I think I've mentioned that before. I usually roll out of bed earlier than normal and head in because I want to beat the crowds and beat the heat. The dryers can really turn that place into a sauna!

This particular trip I forgot to eat breakfast before heading out so I stopped and got a small package of donuts and a large coffee.  As you can see, I still have my Purex  fabric softener sheets from my first giveaway on the blog. I'm still loving them. I also brought along a book that I'm reading for a review opportunity. More on the book in another post.

I must say that having used these Purex UltraPax makes doing laundry a lot easier.

These little packets can't be handled with wet hands or that plastic cover will melt all over the place. As long as your hands are dry it becomes a whole lot easier to drop one of these packets into the washer with the clothes. They are premeasured, so you don't have to worry about dripping detergent all over the cap and washer. The plastic completely melts in the wash as well!

And, my favorite part, is that I did this a week ago... and when I pulled my socks out of the drawer today they still smelled of the Purex UltraPax.

The package comes with 18 of these little packets in it. So, you get 18 loads done with one bag of them. Orrrrr, if all your laundry is super soiled or rather large loads (like I do at the Laundromat, enabling me to rush through the process even faster) that makes 9 loads. Still a decent deal for the ease of use and price paid. I keep my bag in the trunk of my car with my fabric softener sheets so that I have to do is throw the dirty clothes into the trunk and go.

What do you do to take laundry detergent on the go?

And, in honor of getting these awesome little Purex UltraPax to try from Purex Insiders... I'm giving you the chance to get some to try too!

  1. I usually try to pour a small amount of detergent into a baby food jar or canning jar. It's a pain!! I'd love to try these!
