My Daily Routine

I don't have a set daily routine, really. I don't get up until about 10:00 am or 11:00 am if I can help it. If I have a Dr. Appt. I set it for as early in the morning as possible so I don't mess with the rest of my day. So, I get up and shower and all of that. If I'm not hurting to bad I get a stick of incense out and listen to some of my witchy music. I dance around the room while I get dressed. I know it sounds goofy, but doing this really helps me set the mood for the day.

After I'm up and dressed I take my morning medication. When you are Bipolar you HAVE to take your medication every single day. I am a member of some Bipolar support groups and everyone is always asking if it is okay to skip meds. No, never. It is never okay to skip your meds. If I skip my meds I'll get really sick. physically and mentally. And we aren't just talking about withdrawals, Bipolar isn't just the fashionable mental disorder of the day. The torture it would play on my mind without the meds is something I'm not willing to go through again. I try to be natural and healthy in every other area of my life. But, when it comes to being Bipolar I have to take those meds. I'm just saying.

Anyhoo... around then Mike usually calls me to see if I'm ready to come over. Yeah, we don't live together yet. We do spend all day together most every day. I hang out with him and go with him when he runs his errands for the day. I also spend a lot of time working on my blog when I'm with him.

By the end of the day I'm so ready to go home! I get back to my apartment and spend the evening relaxing. I used to do Yoga or Run every night. But, then I got sick and had to have the two surgeries. I'm back not and I need to get that going again. I have another round of night medication to take. Then I take care of my tiny window garden... hey, that would make a good post sometime! And then I go to bed.

That's all for now my lovelies.
